Eureka Police are searching for a black 2014 Nissan Pathfinder that was stolen from the commuter lot off Hwy. 66 near I-44. The SUV is estimated to be worth $18,000, police reported.

A 27-year-old Pacific woman said she parked the Pathfinder at about 5 p.m. Nov. 8. She said she returned to the lot at about 9:15 a.m. Nov. 9, and the SUV was gone, the report said.

The woman said she still had the key to the SUV, and she believed the doors were locked, according to the report.

As of Nov. 18, the SUV had not been located, and no suspects had been identified, Capt. Michael Werges said. He asks anyone with information about the stolen Pathfinder to call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
