Fenton-area man charged for alleged stalking

Nicholas P. Parrott

A Jefferson County man is facing charges after being arrested for at least a third time for alleged domestic violence at a home in the Fenton-area. The man threatened to return to the home again following a second arrest in two days, court documents show.

Nicholas P. Parrott, 36, who lives in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton, on Oct. 27 was charged with first-degree stalking, a class E felony punishable by up to four years in prison; and fourth-degree domestic assault, a class A misdemeanor that carries a penalty of up to one year in jail and a fine of up to $2,000, according to court records.

He was arrested on Oct. 25 at a home on Treeview Lane.

As of Nov. 7, Parrott was being held on a $1,000 bond at the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro, jail records show.

According to the case’s probable-cause statement, a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputy was called to the home on Treeview Lane due to a domestic violence situation. Two women told the deputy that Parrott threw a TV antenna at them during an argument and threatened to burn down the house.

One of the women said Parrott acted like he was going to hit her, and the other woman said Parrott screamed in her face and pushed her, the report said.

Parrott was arrested on Oct. 24 for alleged domestic assault, and he allegedly returned to the home after being released from jail. He also was arrested on Aug. 23 for alleged domestic assault, according to the report.

When Parrott was arrested on Oct. 25, he allegedly yelled, “I will be back when I get out.” He also allegedly told the deputy that he “was only going to be held for 12 hours” and “just wait, we will be back at the residence tonight,” the report said.
