Nicholas P. Graham, 47, of De Soto was allegedly found with methamphetamine and a glass pipe while being arrested. De Soto Police arrested him on an active warrant, according to court document.
Graham had been charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony punishable by up to seven years in prison, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, a class D misdemeanor that is punishable by a fine of up to $500, court records show.
Graham was arrested on Oct. 14, and as of Monday, Oct. 20, he was being held on a $4,000 bond at the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro, court documents said.
De Soto Police officers on Dec. 18, 2024, saw Graham near the intersection of North Main Streat and Fountain City Road. Due to Graham being wanted on an active warrant, the officers arrested him, according to the case’s probable-cause statement.
Before being arrested, Graham dropped a bag, which officers recovered and allegedly found a white crystal-like substance inside it. The officers also found a pipe that had a white crystal-like substance inside it, the report said.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol on May 19 identified the substances in the pipe and bag as meth, according to the report.
