The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of two motorcycles from a barn in the 7800 block of Jim Weber Road southwest of Eureka. The barn was not locked, and the keys were left with each motorcycle, authorities reported.

The victim told investigators the motorcycles were stolen between May 27 and May 31. The stolen motorcycles were a white 1982 Yamaha XS6 and a blue Yamaha TTR, the report said.

The Sheriff’s Office does not provide approximate values for stolen vehicles.

As of June 10, neither motorcycle had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
