A 3-year-old Antonia boy was found Monday afternoon, less than an hour after he was reported missing that day, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Levi Gene, who has autism and is non-verbal, was found safe and uninjured at about 11:30 a.m. on Tulip Hill Drive in Antonia, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said.
A family member had last seen the child at about 5:30 a.m. that morning at a home near Old Lemay Ferry Road and Old Hwy. M in Antonia and was reported missing at 10:44 a.m.
Tulip Hill Drive is less than a half-mile from the intersection.
The Sheriff’s Office issued a red alert about the missing child at about 11:20 a.m., and a deputy found him, Bissell said.
