A St. Louis man under investigation in Jefferson County has been charged with three felonies in St. Louis County. The man allegedly abused a girl who was younger than 14 over for nearly three years, according to court records.
Sam Thang, 38, has been charged with two counts of felony third-degree child molestation and one count of felony statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy. As of March 20, he was being held on a $250,000 bond at the St. Louis County Jail, court records show.
According to a probable-cause statement filed by the St. Louis County Police, Thang inappropriately touched the girl multiple times between January 2020 and August 2023.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims. Anyone who believes they have been victimized by Thang is asked to call St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons detectives at 314-615-5400.
