Jason Gene Patrick Schrader, 20, of Lonedell died in a motorcycle crash Oct. 3 on Hwy. 30 at Cedar Springs Road in Cedar Hill, officials said.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer identifies victims of vehicle crashes. The Regional Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim.
The Highway Patrol report states a 2018 Ford Focus driven by a 19-year-old Cedar Hill man crossed Hwy. 30 at 7:31 p.m. and was struck by a 2002 Yamaha FZS10 driven by Schrader, who was ejected during the crash. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 7:39 p.m. and taken by Edwards Mortuary to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
A 19-year-old woman in the Ford received minor injuries and was taken by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South.
The report states Schrader was not wearing a helmet, and the female passenger was not wearing a seat belt. The Ford had extensive damage, and the motorcycle was totaled.
