A Wildwood man is facing several charges, including possession of child pornography.
On Tuesday, William Busch, 19, was charged by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office with possession of child pornography, attempted sexual exploitation of a minor child, age misrepresentation with intent to solicit a minor for sexual misconduct and sex with an animal.
According to a probable-cause statement, Busch messaged a minor under 17 in July 2025 through Snapchat. Investigators said Busch eventually convinced the victim to send him five separate videos of the victim engaged in sexual activity. Law enforcement also said Busch posed as a 13-year-old boy in October 2025 via Snapchat to communicate with a second victim, who was under the age of 14 at the time.
Detectives said the defendant then attempted to convince the second victim to create and send sexual videos via Snapchat.
The statement said Busch also possessed multiple videos of him engaging in sexual relations with a dog.
The statement said police first became aware of Busch in January 2026. Officials said Busch admitted to these incidents in an interview.
Investigators believe there could be additional victims. Anyone who believes they may have been victimized by Busch is urged to contact St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons detectives at 314-615-5400.
Busch is being held on a $750,000, cash-only, no 10 percent bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 7.
