Due to technical issues with phone systems and servers, Jefferson County is temporarily unable to process transactions and has canceled two meetings, according to a news alert posted on the county’s website on Oct. 2.
The network disruptions have caused staff to cancel two public meetings scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8.
The Board of Zoning Adjustment meeting planned for 4 p.m. on Thursday and the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday were both canceled due to technical issues.
“Our IT staff is working diligently to resolve the issue and restore normal service as quickly as possible,” the county stated in its news alert. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”
