A witness told Festus Police a man broke a window at the White Grill restaurant, 218 E. Main St., in Festus on Sunday evening (April 9) and then drove away. The incident happened about 7 p.m., Chief Tim Lewis said.
“All we know is it was a white man in a truck pulling a trailer,” Lewis said. “He punched the window, broke it and left.”
The restaurant has not been open for business for some time, and previously the White Grill owner said it was temporarily closed for renovations.
