The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has identified a person of interest in connection with a recent theft at Tops Unlimited, a cabinet and counter business on Biltmore Drive in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton. An employee’s silver 2008 Kawasaki Concours was stolen, and another employee’s Echo leaf blower was stolen, authorities reported.
The employees said the thefts happened between about 10 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. April 10, when the culprit loaded the items into an unidentified pickup and left with them, the report said.
The motorcycle was valued at about $6,500, and the leaf blower was worth about $629, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
As of April 24, neither the motorcycle nor the leaf blower had been recovered, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
