The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of guns, appliances, electronics and other items from a home in the 9700 block of Sandy Church Road east of Hillsboro. The culprit appeared to have entered the home through an unlocked window and then stole the items, which were valued at $5,423, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
The burglary occurred between June 12 and June 18. Among the stolen items were three guns; a washer and dryer set; a mini refrigerator; three flat-screen TVs, two sound bars and an Amazon Alexa device, the report said.
As of June 30, none of the stolen items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
