The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a St. Louis man suspected of stealing a pickup outside the Circle K gas station, 2285 Old Hwy. 141, in unincorporated Fenton. The pickup was stolen at about 7:30 a.m. May 1, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
The owner left his 2020 blue Dodge Ram 1500 running and unlocked when he went into the gas station to buy a soda. While he was inside, someone got out of a car parked nearby and then drove away in the Dodge, the report said.
The pickup was located later that day in St. Louis. However, the victim’s Samsung Galaxy S10 phone was no longer in the vehicle, according to a report.
As of May 5, the Sheriff’s Office had not located the suspect, spokesman Grant Bissell said. Anyone with information about the incident should call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
