The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of items at Drake Carpentry Inc., 1123 Gravois Road, in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton. Barbed wire and gate locks were cut at the business, authorities reported.
Deputies were called to the business after a security camera went offline. Surveillance video showed someone cutting barbed wire and the locks about 12:35 p.m. Nov. 18, the report said.
A Dewalt miter saw and stand, air compressor and security camera were stolen, according to the report.
The Sheriff’s Office did not report an estimated value for the stolen items or cost to repair the cut barbed wire and locks.
As of Nov. 21, none of the items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
