The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of wire, outlets and fuse boxes from an apartment building under construction in the 1400 block of Park West Court in Imperial. The stolen items were removed from interior wooden studs in the building, the report said.
The owner of Jack’s Electric of St. Louis reported the damage and theft on Feb. 1. It is not known when the incident occurred, but the cost to repair the damage and replace the stolen items was estimated at $8,000, the report said.
As of Feb. 17, none of the stolen items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
