The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent burglary at a home in the 700 block of North Low View Drive in the Fenton area.

At 10 p.m. April 15 and 2 a.m. April 16, someone forced open the front door of the home and stole an iPad, two boxes of baseball cards and $180 in cash. In all, the stolen items were valued at about $680, the Sheriff's Office reported.

The victim told deputies her son discovered the burglary after noticing that the back door was open. His mother returned home at about 2:30 a.m. April 16 and cleaned up the home before reporting the burglary at 4:09 a.m., according to the report.

As of April 22, no stolen items had been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriffs’ Office.
