A burglary at a home in the 2200 block of East Rock Creek Road in the Arnold area cost the victims $2,325 in stolen items and damage to the home. The incident occurred sometime Sept. 10-11, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The victim called authorities after noticing the back door of the home had been kicked in. Also, glass was broken on an inner door, and it possibly had been forced open, the report said.
Stolen items included a revolver, $200 in cash, a gift card worth $200, several power tools, work tools, a chain saw and a security system. As of Sept. 16, the stolen items had not been recovered, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said.
He also said no arrests had been made. He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
