A 40-year-old Imperial woman recently was arrested for allegedly stealing $900 in cash from the Home Depot store in Arnold over a two-week period, Arnold Police report.

The woman had been an employee at the store and allegedly stole the money from her cash drawer, the report said.

She was arrested April 13.

The woman also was wanted in Jefferson County on outstanding warrants for animal violations, the report said.

The woman was booked and held for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.

Arnold Police will seek felony stealing charges against her through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, he said.

As of April 21, no charges had been filed, Ruckman said.
