woman in handcuffs

A 20-year-old Imperial woman was arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer after trespassing at an ex-boyfriend’s home in the 2000 block of Kimmy Lane. The incident happened at about 8:35 p.m. June 4, Arnold Police reported.

Police got a call that the woman allegedly was causing a disturbance at the home, arguing with a 19-year-old Arnold man there. Officers attempted to get the woman to leave, but she refused, the report said.

When officers tried to arrest her for trespassing, she allegedly flayed her arms and kicked at the officers. Neither the officers nor the woman was injured, according to the repot.

The woman was arrested and taken to the Police Station where she was booked and released on summonses to appear in Municipal Court for fourth-degree assault of a police officer, resisting arrest and second-degree trespassing, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
