Justin William Gough, 39, has been charged for allegedly attacking a woman who he lives with in House Springs, according to court documents.
Gough was charged Dec. 13 with first-degree domestic assault, a class B felony punishable by five to 15 years in prison. As of Dec. 15, he was being held without bond at the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro, court records show.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called Dec. 13 to the House Springs home. A woman told investigators Gough choked her with a purse strap and hit her in the head several times, according to the case’s probable-cause statement.
