The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at a home in the 7500 block of Briarwood Lane in Barnhart. A back door was forced open, and items worth $14,436 were stolen, authorities reported.
The burglary occurred between 5:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. May 24. Stolen items included a wood-burning furnace, a Samsung TV, a toolbox containing tools, a case of bleach, shoes, three bottles of prescription medication and paperwork, the report said.
As of May 30, none of the items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
