Randy D. Delbruegge, 49, of High Ridge has been sentenced to 15 years in prison following felony charges for attempting to make methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a firearm, court records show.
On June 24, Delbruegge was found at an apartment in the 2800 block of Schumacher Lane with pseudoephedrine, a butane bottle, lithium batteries, muriatic acid, camping fuel, funnels, tubing and other items commonly used to make meth, the probable-cause statement said.
He also had glassware that had residue on it, and the substance was tested and found to be meth, the report said.
In addition, he was found with smoking devices, a digital scale, a police scanner, numerous security cameras and a Ruger rifle with a scope, and as a convicted felon, he could not have a firearm, according to the report.
Delbruegge pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced by Jefferson County Div. 3 Circuit Judge on Oct. 2 to 15 years for attempting to make meth and seven years for possession of a firearm. But, the terms are to be served concurrently, or at the same time, the report said.
Jefferson County assistant prosecuting attorney Trisha C. Stefanski handled the case.
Delbruegge was sentenced in November 2006 to five years following two felony drug charges and one misdemeanor drug charge tied to a September 2001 incident in Jefferson County, as well as a felony drug charge stemming from an April 2005 incident in Jefferson County, court documents indicate.
He currently is in the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Bonne Terre.
