Arnold Police recently arrested a 33-year-old High Ridge man for alleged possession of heroin. His companion, a 32-year-old St. Louis man, was arrested for outstanding warrants, according to Arnold Police.
At 4:41 p.m. May 3, Arnold Police got a call that the men were acting suspiciously at the Schnucks store, 3900 Vogel Road, in Arnold. When officers arrived, they allegedly found the High Ridge man with heroin and discovered the St. Louis man was wanted on outstanding warrants from Arnold for misdemeanor stealing and from St. Louis and St. Louis County for traffic violations, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
The High Ridge man was booked and released pending application for warrants. The St. Louis man was held until he paid a $150 Arnold Municipal Court bond and then released to St. Louis County Police, Ruckman said.
Depending on results from drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek felony drug possession charges against the High Ridge man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Ruckman said.
