The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a black 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle from the 5300 block of Lakewood Terrace in Imperial. The motorcycle had been parked in the parking lot of the Lakewood Terrace apartment complex, police reported.
The victim reported the theft on the morning of Sept. 18. He said he still had the keys to the motorcycle, the report said.
The Sheriff’s Office did not report when the victim had parked the motorcycle outside the apartment complex, and it did not provide an approximate value for the Harley-Davidson.
As of Sept. 25, the motorcycle had not been recovered, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
