Timothy Earl Hanlon, 39, of Eureka was sentenced to 20 years in prison following felony drug charges and a probation violation, court papers show.
In March 2015, Hanlon was found with methamphetamine at an apartment in the 3300 block of High Ridge Boulevard where he said he had been living at the time. In addition, items commonly used to make meth were found in the apartment, the probable-cause statement said.
Hanlon pleaded guilty to attempting to manufacture or possession with the intent to sell a controlled substance, a class B felony, and possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony, and he was sentenced in November 2015 to 13 years for the class B felony, and seven years for the class A felony. The terms were to be served consecutively, for a total of 20 years, according to court records.
However, Hanlon was released in December 2016 after completing a treatment program, the sentence was suspended, and he got five years’ probation, court documents indicated.
Hanlon violated his probation, though, and on March 5, Jefferson County Div. 6 Circuit Judge Troy A. Cardona executed the consecutive 13-year and the seven-year prison terms, totaling 20 years, the report said.
Jefferson County assistant prosecuting attorney Trisha C. Stefanski handled the case.
A co-defendant in the case – Tina Ojile of Oakland, Ariz. – pleaded guilty to the class B felony of attempting to manufacture or possession with the intent to sell a controlled substance, and in September 2015, she was sentenced to 10 years in prison. But, in January 2016, after completing a treatment program, she was placed on five years’ probation, and the sentence was suspended, court records said.
Hanlon currently is in the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Bonne Terre.
