Two guns, a TV and other items recently were stolen from a home in the 6400 block of Old Antonia Road in Imperial, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

The burglary occurred between noon Dec. 10 and 12:10 a.m. Dec. 11, while the victim was away, the report said.

The victim said that when he returned home, he noticed lights were on that shouldn’t have been and then he discovered a window broken, which appeared to be where the culprit got inside, according to the report.

Stolen items included a Smith and Wesson M&P Shied .40-caliber handgun, a Marlin Model 60 .22-caliber rifle, a 32-inch Samsung LCD TV, a Hewlett-Packard laptop computer, several dollar coins and change from a glass jug. In all, the items were valued at $1,475, the report said.

Deputies took photographs and fingerprints at the scene, according to the reports.

As of Wednesday (Dec. 16), the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
