A gun and a class ring recently were stolen from a home in the 6600 block of Eime Road in Dittmer. The burglary occurred between 7:15 a.m. and 5:50 p.m. May 11, while the victim was at work, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Someone broke a basement window to get inside the home and stole a Raven Arms MP-25 automatic pistol and a 2008 Northwest High School class ring with a garnet center stone. The damage to the window and the stolen items were valued at $300, the report said.

As of Wednesday (May 31), the stolen items had not been recovered. There were no suspects or arrests either, Capt. Gary Higginbotham said. He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
