A generator was stolen from outside a vacant mobile home in the Starling Community in Arnold. The Predator 8750 generator was valued at $800, Arnold Police reported.

The victim, a 60-year-old Arnold man who lives in the mobile home community, had parked a trailer with the generator secured inside it next to the home at the community owner’s request. The generator was stolen between 8 p.m. Jan. 9 and 3 a.m. Jan. 10, the report said.

The generator had been secured to the trailer by a cable, but the cable was cut. A silver extended-cab Chevrolet Silverado was seen in surveillance video parked next to the trailer before the generator was stolen, according to the report.

As of Jan. 20, the generator had not been recovered, and neither the pickup nor any suspects had been identified, Cpl. Brett Ackermann said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
