Arnold Police recently arrested four women for allegedly stealing from the Lowe’s store in the Arnold Commons development. Three of the women were wanted on outstanding warrants, and one of them allegedly assaulted an Arnold Police officer, the report said.

On Feb. 13, Arnold Police got a call that the four women stole about $304 in merchandise from the Lowe’s store. By the time Arnold Police got to the scene, the four had fled in a vehicle, but they were still at the Arnold Commons complex and eventually were stopped outside the Dierbergs store, Detective Lt. James Jones said.

Among the suspects was a 26-year-old Park Hills woman, who was arrested for stealing, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and an outstanding warrant for a probation or parole violation, the report said.

Another suspect was a 46-year-old St. Louis woman, who was arrested for stealing, and the third suspect was a 30-year-old Cape Girardeau woman, who was arrested for stealing and outstanding warrants from Cape Girardeau and Farmington, according to the report.

The fourth suspect, a 19-year-old St. Louis woman, was arrested for stealing, for allegedly slapping an Arnold Police officer, resisting arrest and an outstanding warrant from University City, Jones said.

The 46-year-old woman was issued a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court and released, and the rest of them were issued summonses and then held for the various law enforcement agencies that wanted them, the report said.
