Three men and a woman were arrested for alleged possession of meth during a traffic stop. At about 8:10 p.m. Sept. 10, the four people were in a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe when it was pulled over in the 900 block of Jeffco Boulevard, Arnold Police reported.

Arnold Police’s crime suppression unit was keeping track of the Tahoe after seeing it in the Quality Inn and Suites Hotel parking lot, 3610 West Outer Road. The SUV had expired license plates, which led police to stop it, the report said.

A 35-year-old Bella Villa man was driving the SUV, and a 32-year-old St. Louis woman, a 37-year-old Arnold man and a 29-year-old Arnold man were passengers in the vehicle. When the SUV was searched, police allegedly found a substance believed to be meth on the floorboard of the rear-passenger seat, and the woman allegedly also was in possession of a substance that appeared to be meth, a report said.

The 29-year-old Arnold man initially refused to get out of the SUV after it was pulled over, according to the report.

The four were arrested, taken to the Police Station, booked and then released. The substance was sent to the lab for testing, and pending the results, Arnold Police will seek drug possession charges against all four through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, as well as a failure to comply charge against the 29-year-old man, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
