Four people were arrested at the Quality Inn and Suites, 3610 W. Outer Road, in Arnold after one allegedly used a stolen credit card to rent a room there. The arrests occurred at 2:01 p.m. Dec. 22, Arnold Police reported.
One of the four suspects, a 24-year-old Hillsboro woman, allegedly was found with a substance believed to be methamphetamine, as well as drug paraphernalia. In addition, a 37-year-old Byrnes Mill woman, a 29-year-old Imperial man and a 36-year-old Ironton woman were arrested on outstanding warrants, and the Ironton woman also allegedly was found with drug paraphernalia and attempted to obstruct the police, the report said.
The Byrnes Mill woman was wanted on a warrant from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for stealing. The Imperial man was wanted on warrants from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, from the St. Louis County Police Department for domestic assault and from the St. Louis Police for two traffic violations. The Ironton woman was wanted on a warrant from the Desloge Police Department for possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the report.
The four were taken to the Arnold Police Station, where they were booked, and the three with outstanding warrants were held for the other law enforcement agencies. The Hillsboro woman was released pending application for warrants, the report said.
Depending on the drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek charges against the Hillsboro woman through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, Lt.
