Festus Police are looking for a 33-year-old De Soto man who allegedly broke into and ransacked his ex-girlfriend’s apartment in the 700 block of Horine Road. The incident happened overnight May 22-23.
Chief Tim Lewis said the victim, a 33-year-old woman, reported the incident at about 7 a.m. May 23.
“When she returned to the apartment, it had been ransacked,” Lewis said. “No items were taken. There was damage. It’s a break-in and vandalism.”
He said May 26 that the man had not been located. Anyone with information is asked to call Festus Police at 636-937-3646.
