Authorities are seeking information about a burglary at Richard’s Produce in Festus sometime between the business’ closing time on July 23 and the next morning.
Festus Police Chief Tim Lewis said an undisclosed amount of cash reportedly was stolen from the business at 631 N. Creek Drive during that time.
He said he did not know when employees closed the store on July 23.
“When they opened at 8 a.m. (July 24), they found a door open and the door frame damaged,” Lewis said. “Money was taken.”
