A Festus man went out for the evening on May 30, and when he returned at about midnight, he found his home in the 1900 block of McKinley Range had been burglarized. Items worth about $15,000 were stolen, Festus Police Chief Tim Lewis said.
“A bunch of electronic equipment, guns and some cash were taken,” Lewis said.
He said he didn’t know how the culprit gained entry into the home.
“There was no forced entry,” Lewis said. “He (the victim) is not sure if the doors were unlocked or somebody used a key.”
Anyone with information about the burglary is urged to call Festus Police at 636-937-5184.
