Eureka Police are searching for a man who allegedly assaulted a 26-year-old Franklin County man. The incident occurred about 1:11 a.m. Sept. 17 at JP’s Sports Bar and Grill, 95 Hilltop Village Center, a report said.
When Eureka Police arrived at the bar after the alleged disturbance, they found the Franklin County man unconscious in the parking lot. Witnesses told police that the Franklin County man was intoxicated and tried to fight another man they didn’t know, according to the report.
Witnesses also said the Franklin County man tried to strike the other man but missed, and then the unidentified man hit the Franklin County man once, and he was knocked unconscious, the report said.
