Eureka Police are seeking a 41-year-old man for allegedly assaulting a woman he had been living with in Eureka. Police were called at about 10:20 a.m. Aug. 31 to the 200 block of Weber Drive by a 38-year-old Eureka woman, who alleged that her live-in boyfriend assaulted her during an argument, authorities reported.
The woman told police the man pushed her down and punched her in the face 10 times. The man left the home after the alleged assault, went to a neighbor’s house, then called for an Uber ride and left Eureka, the report said.
The woman had visible signs of injuries to her nose and chin, and she was taken by the Eureka Fire Protection District to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, according to the report.
Eureka Police got a phone number for the man, who also had addresses listed in Riverview and Bridgeton, the report said.
Capt. David Wilson said Eureka Police is seeking a third-degree assault charge against the man through the Eureka Municipal Court.
