Someone stole more than $4,000 in equipment from a shed at a home in the 8000 block of Portland Drive in Dittmer. The thefts occurred between Nov. 14 and Nov. 25, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Items stolen from the unlocked lean-to shed included two leaf blowers, a log splitter and a wire welder. The items were valued at $4,110, the report said.
On Nov. 28, Sgt. Matthew Moore said none of the stolen items had been recovered and there were no arrests. Anyone with information is urged to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
