The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of $2,450 in items from a home in the 6400 block of Craig Drive in Cedar Hill. The theft occurred between Dec. 24 and Jan. 5, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
It looked like the culprit forced entry through the front door of the house. Stolen items included space heaters; car audio amplifiers; a flat-screen TV; a computer monitor; a home stereo and speakers; and radio-controlled boats and a truck. In addition, the ignition of a 1997 Chevy Suburban was damaged, the report said.
As of Jan. 14, none of the stolen items had been recovered and there were no arrests, Sgt. Matthew Moore said. Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
