Arnold Police recently arrested a 24-year-old East St. Louis woman for allegedly stealing $2,514.43 in baby formula from the Shop ‘n Save store, 1253 Water Tower Place. The woman allegedly stole formula from the store on several occasions between Aug. 30 and Oct. 22, the report said.
The woman, who allegedly had done the same thing last year, was identified as a suspect. She was arrested on Nov. 5, but after complaining about a medical issue, the woman was taken by ambulance to an area hospital, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
Arnold Police will seek felony stealing charges against her through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Jones said.
