Arnold Police are trying to identify the driver of a black car who allegedly slammed into a mailbox in the 3200 block of Rosedale Drive and drove away. The cost to replace the mailbox was estimated at $500, police reported.
A 65-year-old Arnold woman told police that at about 11:35 a.m. Jan. 13 the driver appeared to lose control of the car before traveling across her driveway, running over her mailbox and driving away, the report said.
As of Jan. 19, the driver had not been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the accident to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
