De Soto Police are looking for someone driving a white passenger car who damaged a gate and several vehicles at the Auto Plaza Ford dealership, 12836 Hwy. 21, and then left the scene.
Police believe the vehicle was traveling north on Hwy. 21 when it left the roadway near the intersection of Hwy. Y at about 2:30 a.m. today (March 17) and struck the gate at the dealership, which, in turn, damaged five vehicles, according to a report from the Police Chief Rick Draper.
An estimate for damage had not been determined, Draper said.
The driver left the area and did not report the incident.
“Our agency has seized a portion of the vehicle and is currently working to obtain the surveillance video of the incident,” the report said.
