Two dirt bikes, a TV and other items recently were stolen from a home in the 2100 block of Country Club Drive in Imperial. The theft was discovered on Sept. 22, after the victim went to a storage locker on his property and found the items missing, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

He told deputies the items were in the locker about three months earlier, but when he went to check the locker on Sept. 22, he found that a different lock was on the door. So, he cut if off and found items missing, the report said.

Stolen items included a yellow 1996 Suzuki dirt bike; a yellow 1986 Yamaha dirt bike; a black Emerson 50-inch TV; two electric flat-screen fireplaces; five light fixtures; a wooden bar along with a red bar stool and a black bar stool; four white plaster columns and three shag-style rugs. Altogether, the items were valued at $2,930, according to the report.

As of Monday (Oct. 3), the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, Lt. Gary Higginbotham said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
