Connie Knittel of De Soto is seeking any information that might help find her son, Stephen Sullentrup, 35, who was last seen Nov. 29 at his De Soto home.

Grant Bissell, spokesman for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, said a missing persons report was filed around 7 p.m. Dec. 2.

Bissell said Sullentrup’s car, a 2000 Ford Focus, was found parked in a long driveway in the 8500 block of Dittmer Catawissa Road in Dittmer.

Knittel said her son’s wallet and keys were still inside the car. She said her son has never gone missing before and would not leave his wallet.

She said Sullentrup’s girlfriend, Becky Wilson, was the person who last saw him Nov. 29, and at the time, he was planning to go to a Veterans Administration hospital because he was not feeling well.

Knittel said her son is a disabled veteran and she last saw him on Thanksgiving (Nov. 28).

She said volunteers have been searching wooded areas around De Soto, based on GPS signals from his cell phone. Knittel also said when she tries to call him the call goes straight to voicemail.

Knittel said she has consulted a psychic for help to find her son.

Anyone with information about Sullentrup is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5000.
