De Soto Police are looking for a blue car that reportedly left the scene of an accident in the 500 block of S. Fourth Street on Saturday night (Sept. 16). Officers were called to the site of the accident at 9:54 p.m., Police Chief Rick Draper reported.
“Upon arrival, the victim stated that he was sitting inside his residence when he heard a crash,” Draper said. “He ran outside and saw a blue car reversing from just hitting his vehicle (a white Ford Focus) and driving away north on South Fourth Street towards West Pratt Street.”
The suspect’s car may have damage to its front end, Draper said.
“We would assume there would be damage to the vehicle but not sure to what extent,” Draper said.
As of Tuesday (Sept. 19), no suspects had been identified in the case, Draper said. Anyone with information is asked to call De Soto Police at 636-586-3326.
