De Soto Police arrested a 32-year-old De Soto man for alleged possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia on May 12.
At 2:17 a.m., an officer was investigating a call about two people sleeping in a vehicle that was blocking an alley near Lansdowne Street, Police Chief Rick Draper said.
During a conversation with the occupants of the vehicle, the officer gained consent to search the vehicle and allegedly found a small plastic baggie filled with a powdery substance, as well as syringes containing fluid, he said.
The suspect was booked and released pending application for warrants. Depending on results from analysis of the seized drugs, De Soto Police will seek charges against the man, Draper said.
