A Samsung Galaxy S10 cell phone, a Nintendo Switch portable video game system and a video game were stolen from a Chevrolet Tahoe parked on the Six Flags parking lot, 4900 Six Flags Road, in Eureka. The theft happened July 24, Eureka Police reported.
A Moberly man and a Madison, Ill., man, both 24, told police they arrived at the amusement park at 10:30 a.m., and when they returned to the SUV at 9:30 p.m., they found a hole had been punched in the driver-side door. The SUV had been ransacked, and the phone and other items were missing, the report said.
The phone was valued at $1,000, the Switch at $300 and the game at $50. As of Aug. 2, none of the items had been recovered and there were no suspects, Capt. David Wilson said.
