A Cedar Hill man and woman, both 25, recently were arrested following an alleged shoplifting incident at the Advance Auto Parts store, 3800 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold, Arnold Police reports.

Arnold Police got a call around 10 a.m. Nov. 8 about the incident and found the man outside the store and his wife inside the store, the report said.

The woman was arrested for misdemeanor stealing and outstanding warrants, and the man was arrested for an outstanding warrant, according to the report.

About $407 in merchandise allegedly was stolen, including seat covers, locks, tools, a power inverter and key chains, but the property was recovered and returned to the store, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.

The woman was wanted on warrants from Hillsboro, Byrnesmill and St. Louis County for traffic violations, and the man was wanted on a warrant from Jefferson County for possession of drug paraphernalia, Ruckman said.

Both were booked and then held for the other authorities, the report said.
