Arnold Police are investigating a theft from a car parked outside Xist Fitness in Arnold. The victim, an 18-year-old Imperial woman, said she lost $400 worth of items in the theft, Arnold Police reported.
The theft happened between about 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Nov. 23, while the woman was working out at the gym, 3823 Vogel Road. The culprit allegedly smashed a rear window on the Ford Fusion the woman drove to the fitness center and then stole her purse, which contained several items, the report said.
The damage to the window was estimated at $200. As of Dec. 11, neither the pursue nor its contents had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Capt. Rich Shular said.
