The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a car that was stolen after it was left unlocked and running outside the Circle K gas station, 105 Delores Drive, in unincorporated Fenton. The black 2016 Nissan Altima was valued at about $7,600, spokesman Grant Bissell said.
The car was stolen Jan. 16 while the victim was inside the convenience store. Surveillance footage allegedly showed a dark-colored passenger car park next to the Altima and then someone get out of the passenger side of the car, get into the Altima and drive away, the report said.
As of Jan. 22, the Altima had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Bissell said. Anyone with information about the incident should call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
