Billy G. McMahan, 36, of Bonne Terre was seriously hurt late Thursday afternoon in a motorcycle crash along Hwy. P east of Argonne Road in the Festus area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 4:40 p.m., McMahan was riding a 2001 Honda CBR 1100XX east on Hwy. P, and the bike ran off the right side of the road, where it struck a bridge support beam, the report said.
McMahan was taken by Joachim-Plattin Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City.
He was wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
The bike was totaled, the report said.
